A facile synthesis of benzo[b][1,4]thiazepine derivatives by palladium acetate catalyzed reaction

The preparation of steroid/nonsteroid fused benzo[b][1,4]thiazepines and 2-arylsubstituted benzo[b][1,4]thiazepines is described from Pd(OAc)₂ catalyzed reaction of steroidal/nonsteroidal β-halovinyl aldehydes and 2-aminothiophenols in DMF under heating condition.     

Rhodium(II) catalyzed highly diastereoselective synthesis of conformationally restricted dispiro[1,3-dioxolane]bisoxindoles

Synthesis of conformationally restricted dispiro- and bis-dispiro-1,3-dioxolanes via three-component reaction of diazoamides, ketoamides/diketones, and aromatic/heteroaromatic aldehydes in the presence of rhodium(II) acetate dimer catalyst at room temperature involving carbonyl ylides is demonstrated with diastereoselectivity. Synthesis of macrocyclic dispiro-1,3-dioxolanes via intramolecular carbonyl ylide is also delineated in high yield. The conformationally restricted symmetrical as well as unsymmetrical dispiro-1,3-dioxolanes were obtained under mild conditions in a highly diastereo- and regioselective manner.     

Base-mediated reaction of vinyl bromides with aryl azides: one-pot synthesis of 1,5-disubstituted 1,2,3-triazoles

A one-pot base-mediated reaction of azides and β- or α-vinyl bromides has been reported. The effects of bases and solvents have been investigated in the process. A variety of 1,5-disubstituted triazoles were prepared in low to good yields. Further studies reveal that the corresponding alkynes were produced as intermediates via elimination reaction. Under the same reaction conditions, the reactions of alkyl alkynes with phenyl azide would give 1,5-disubstituted 1,2,3-triazoles.     

A novel efficient protocol for preparation of 3-formyl-2-arylbenzo[b]furan derivatives

An efficient method for preparation of 3-formyl-2-arylbenzo[b]furan derivatives 4 from 3-chloro-2-(2-methoxyaryl)-1-arylprop-2-en-1-one 2 was developed, and the desired product was obtained in good to excellent yields. By converting 2-(2-methoxyphenyl)-3-oxo-3-phenylpropanal 1 to 2, the regioselectivity problem occurring in the reaction when using 1 as the starting material was successfully avoided. Furthermore, a one-pot procedure for the successive demethylation, cyclization, and hydrolysis was evolved, although the intermediate 3-(dibromomethyl)-2-phenylbenzo[b]furan 3a could be isolated. A plausible mechanism was proposed based on some in situ investigations.     

A Facile Approach for Synthesis of Benzofuro[2,3‐c]pyridines via Intramolecular Cascade Annulations

A facile synthesis of benzofuro[2,3‐c]pyridines has been achieved under mild conditions by using ammonium acetate as the nitrogen source through intramolecular cascade annulation. This reaction could efficiently construct pyridine ring and furan ring in one step. Moreover, the key annulation step was demonstrated through dihydrobenzofuran intermediates.     

乙酸异丙酯的合成

以乙酸和异丙醇为原料,硫酸氢钠为催化剂,合成了乙酸异丙酯;考察了反应时间、酸醇比、催化剂用量、带水剂用量对酯化率的影响,确定了最佳酯化反应条件:反应时间60min,酸醇的物质的量的比1∶0.8,催化剂用量0.8g,带水剂用量8mL.在最佳反应条件下,酯化率最高可达84.3%.     

多级孔WO3/ZrO2固体酸催化剂的制备与表征

Combustion Derived Nanocrystalline‐ZrO2 and Its Catalytic Activity for Biginelli Condensation under Microwave Irradiation

Nanocrystalline zirconium(IV) oxide (nc‐ZrO₂) possessing high surface area was synthesized by a low temperature eco‐friendly solution combustion method using a new organic fuel alanine. The powder XRD, SEM and surface area measurements were carried out for characterization of nc‐ZrO₂. The powder XRD results revealed that, the nc‐ZrO₂ has the pure tetragonal phase. The crystallite size calculated by Scherrer's formula and BET surface area were found to be ca. 53–57 nm and ca. 275 m²/g, respectively. SEM micrograph exhibited the macroporous nature of the powder. nc‐ZrO₂ has been employed as a catalyst for the solvent‐free synthesis of 3,4‐dihydro‐ pyrimidin‐2‐ones (DHPMs) by a microwave (MW) assisted one‐pot, multicomponent Biginelli condensation reaction of araldehydes, ethylacetoacetate and urea or thiourea. DHPMs are obtained in good to excellent yields (85%–96%) under this reaction condition within short interval of time (10–20 min).
